About Wendy
I am an experienced English tutor with over 5 years of experience at private tutoring companies, in home tutoring, college writing center experience and more; I have tutored from 2nd grade to Ph. D students. I am about to graduate with my Masters in Education this fall from Claremont Graduate University and I have my B.A. in English from Cal State Fullerton.

I believe I am a good tutor because I take the time to talk with students and find out what they want to say, and I help them say it. As an English tutor, I have found that showing genuine interest in what students are working on can motivate them to see their schoolwork as interesting and engaging work. I have tutored students from 2nd grade to Ph.D students, and I like to take a personalized approach with everyone I tutor. I have tutored at middle school and elementary school educational non-profits, college campus writing centers, private in-home tutoring, and private company educational tutoring centers. Everyone has their own unique writing voice and I pride myself on being able to guide students to find and refine that voice.
I can tutoring writing and composition for middle school and high school, I can tutoring reading and writing for elementary school, and I can tutor college English courses, such as College Writing (English 101)
