About Elsa
With an MMath degree and 5+ years of tutoring, I bring both expertise and passion to mathematics. What excites me most is the history behind it. Ancient civilizations created the foundations of the subject we learn today. From Egyptian geometry to Babylonian number systems, the roots of math are inspiring. Mathematics is best learned in steps, so I teach in a structured sequence. I begin with algebra to form a strong base. From there, students progress into calculus, covering both differentiation and integration. Geometry is taught with an emphasis on logical proofs and critical reasoning. Probability and statistics are connected to practical applications. Every lesson has a clear direction, building concept upon concept. I adjust my teaching style to fit individual needs.
