About David

Teaching piano for the last 8 years has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my life. I’ve had the chance to teach 150 to 200 students, and each one has helped me grow as a tutor. I focus on creating a safe, encouraging space where students can enjoy learning. I help them build good habits and a strong foundation, while also exploring the music they love. Many of my students have gone from nervous beginners to confident performers. A major milestone for me was when one of my students was accepted into a college music program after a year of dedicated work. That success was a shared achievement, and it’s moments like that which remind me why I teach.

About the lesson

My piano teaching method is built on communication, accountability, and integrity to help students develop their skills and love for music. Communication is at the heart of every lesson. I explain concepts clearly and encourage students to ask questions and share their progress. This two-way communication helps build trust and makes learning more effective and enjoyable. Accountability helps students stay motivated and responsible. I work with students to set achievable goals and create practice routines.

I regularly check their progress and provide honest feedback, helping them stay on track. Integrity means being honest and respectful. I provide constructive feedback in a kind way and respect each student’s pace and learning style. I create a positive environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and learn from them. Besides piano playing, I teach related subjects such as music theory, sight-reading, and rhythm. This helps students understand music deeply and play with confidence. Through communication, accountability, and integrity, I aim to inspire students to enjoy piano and become skilled musicians.
