About Corin
I’m a piano teacher with over 8 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Piano Pedagogy. My passion lies in helping students connect emotionally to the music they play. I believe that true musicianship comes from both heart and technique. In our lessons, I focus on building a strong foundation—clear pedal technique, dynamic control, and expressive phrasing. These skills allow students to play with depth and confidence. I guide each student to listen closely, feel the music fully, and shape sound with intention. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to meet individual needs. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, I’ll help you discover your own musical voice. I encourage exploration while keeping a clear structure in place. I especially enjoy seeing students grow into performers who can move others through their playing. Expression and precision go hand in hand in my studio. My goal is to build skill and inspire joy. Together, we’ll turn practice into artistry.

But I also guide you through songwriting, composing melodies and harmonies, and creating intros, outros, and full musical themes. You’ll learn how to turn ideas into structured, expressive pieces. I use clear steps that make musical concepts easy to understand and apply. Creativity is always encouraged. I believe in building a strong musical foundation while giving students the freedom to find their own voice. For students like The Therapy Seeker, I create a calm space to explore emotion through music. For The Jazz Pianist, I dive deep into improvisation, mood, and colour. Both paths lead to original compositions you’ll be proud of. With me, you’ll not only play music—you’ll create it. We’ll work together to develop your unique sound. You'll compose your musical legacy.
