About Romy
I am a piano educator with over 9 years of teaching experience in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, Pedagogy focus. Lessons emphasise sight-reading fluency, score analysis, and interpreting challenging classical repertoire. I adapt instruction to meet each student’s learning style. Music theory, history, and period performance practices are integrated seamlessly. Finger exercises build technical skill while supporting expressive playing. Beginners gain strong foundations, and advanced pianists refine performance and artistry. Lessons balance structure, discipline, and creative exploration. I encourage analytical thinking alongside musical imagination. Each session develops confidence, independence, and a deeper understanding of music. Technical mastery and expressive artistry are cultivated together. I invite students to explore the richness and depth of piano literature.
