About Myat Thet
My name is Myat Thet Hmu, though you can also call me Hailey. I am a final-year student at Singapore Polytechnic with a strong passion for Mathematics. Having achieved top results in my exams, I enjoy simplifying complex concepts and helping students gain confidence. Teaching Math has been both a hobby and passion for me over the years, and I aim to inspire learners to not only improve their grades but also enjoy the subject.

Tutoring Approach I believe in making Mathematics simple and approachable by breaking down complex ideas into clear, step-by-step explanations. My lessons often include real-world examples and practice problems to help students connect concepts with application. I adapt my pace to each student’s learning style, ensuring they gain both understanding and confidence. Lesson Format A typical lesson lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours, with time allocated for reviewing past topics, learning new concepts, and guided practice. I also provide short recap exercises to reinforce learning between sessions. Qualifications & Experience As a final-year student at Singapore Polytechnic with Grade A in all Mathematics modules and 97/100 in my matriculation exam, I bring both academic strength and teaching experience. I have been tutoring children for several years, driven by a genuine passion for helping others excel in Math.
