As a graduate of the College of Charleston, I have been teaching over 25 years. I believe that good vocal technique, when applied correctly, can be used for any genre of music.

About Kevin
I have studied music education at West Chester University of PA, hold a BA in vocal performance from the College of Charleston and did graduate studies in choral conducting at the University of South Carolina. I also studied with the celebrated Dutch bass-baritone Max Van Egmond at the Baroque Performance Institute at Oberlin. I have sung with the Virginia, Savannah and Charleston Symphonies as well as the Virginia Chorale and Capriole in addition to holding many music director positions at churches over the years.

I like to work hard yet keep things fun in all lessons. Students are welcome to bring any music they wish to work on. I firmly believe solid vocal technique can be applied to any genre of music. No two human voices are exactly the same, therefore no two lessons are the same. The one key component that will remain in all lessons is fun. For if lessons are not fun, why do them?
