About the lesson

As creative and enthusiastic piano and composition teacher, I aim to inspire my students to become passionate about their craft, work hard, and enjoy the process of making music. I teach students of all ages and abilities.

- How much do you charge?

£35 for 1 hour lesson
£20 for 1/2 hour lesson (recommended for young children)

- Where do you teach?

I have a studio at my home near Hither Green station, and can travel to most Central and South London locations

- When are you available?

I teach daytimes, evenings, and weekend. My schedule is very flexible.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach beginner-advanced or Jazz Piano, Composition, Arranging and Orchestration. And up to Grade 6 for Classical Piano/

I have taught all ages from 5 to 80!

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

ABRSM/Trinity Guildhall/Rockschool examinations, if they would like to work towards a certificate based goal.

Auditions to BA undergraduate degrees or junior conservatoire workshops (eg. Royal Academy of Music)

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I have a studio in my home which I teach Skype lessons from. The student should have access to a piano or keyboard for piano lessons, and access to a computer with a appropriate software (e.g. Sibelius or Pro Tools) for Music Technology classes.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

I am very open to students/parents requesting their own teaching style and discussing what their goals are. My primary motive is that students are inspired to work hard and enjoy their lessons, as music is meant to be played and shared!
