About Pieternel
I started studying classical piano when I was 6 years old till when I was 19 at the conservatoire in the Netherlands. Then, passionate about improvised music, I began to study jazz piano. Since 2016 I continue my jazz piano studies at the Bill Evans Piano Academy in Paris. Since 2016 I teach jazz / classical piano lessons with great pleasure and pedagogy to students from the age of 6 to 75 years in Paris.

To me, in my teaching it is primordial that students feel joy while playing the piano and gain confidence in their playing.
I offer classical / jazz / pop piano lessons for children, teenagers and adults - all levels. Students learn solid basics of music theory while playing the piano. I listen to the learning desires of students and I propose a suitable method that allow young and old to learn the joys of music or develop their skills. Passionate about music, I like to propose music to my students that expand the universe and creativity of the student.
I travel to the home of my students and I welcome students at my place (I am in possession of a piano). I offer classes of one hour, 30 and 45 minutes.
I charge 35 euros per hour for a piano lesson at home, and 40 euros per hour for a lesson at the student's place.
- Registered as an autoentrepreneur, I send an invoice at the end of the month to my students, so that the students can possibly benefit from a tax deduction.
- Accept Universal Service Employment Checks (CESU)
