About Daniella
My name is Daniella Ibikunle, I am a 20 year old 4th year medical student. I completed my leaving cert in 2021, after which I took a gap year before pursuing my dream of becoming a doctor. I study medicine in Gdansk, Poland, which has been a refreshing experience. It has given me the opportunity to grow outside of the comfort of home and to explore another country. I chose to study medicine because as cliche as it sounds I’ve never been able to imagine myself being anything else. Now I’m hoping to help other students make their goals a little more attainable one lesson at a time.

As a person who has completed their Leaving cert exams in recent years, I believe I can bring a more understanding approach to helping other students with their studies. How? By relating what I found difficult to understand and process, taking the time to break it down and make it more digestible for students. As a student myself I find it easy to identify what students may find difficult to comprehend and explain and teach in a friendly and less intimidating manner. I endeavour to teach in a calm and kind, yet firm environment, prioritising knowledge retention and complete understanding rather than memorisation.
