About GITARTHA
I am a Sangeet Visharad from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith, trained in the rich tradition of Hindustani Classical Music. For me, music is not only an art but also a discipline, a way of life that connects the soul to harmony. Along with my classical training, I have also performed Bihu on stage in front of a huge audience, carrying forward the cultural spirit of Assam with pride and energy. Last year, I successfully organized and conducted a Battle of the Bands competition in my university, which turned out to be a huge success and brought together talented young musicians. With years of practice, stage experience, and deep learning from the Bhatkhande parampara, I now dedicate myself to passing this knowledge to my students. My teaching focuses on: Strengthening the foundation of sur and taal Developing the voice with proper riyaz and vocal exercises Maintaining a disciplined routine for practice Learning through both theory and practical performance Preparing for stages, competitions, and music exams with confidence role as a teacher is to nurture that spark into a flame of confidence, creativity, and devotion to music.
