I hold an Associate of Music in Piano Skills and bring over 4 years of teaching experience. My passion is helping students connect piano playing to real-life opportunities. I’ve guided worship leaders who want to serve their churches with confidence. I’ve supported theater pianists learning to collaborate with singers and actors. In my piano teaching, I place a strong focus on sight-reading and rhythm. Students begin with systematic drills that train the eyes to see intervals and patterns quickly. This builds solid visual-to-finger coordination. Speed-reading exercises help remove hesitation when approaching new pieces. Rhythm training is equally important. I use clapping, tapping, and counting to sharpen accuracy. These methods ensure students play with steady timing. Children love interactive rhythm games and quick-reading challenges. Adults enjoy structured methods that make progress clear. I am skilled in working with The Child Prodigy and The Hobbyist Adult. Both groups receive customized practice to match their needs. Over time, sight-reading becomes natural and reliable. My goal is to help every student feel confident when facing unfamiliar music.
