About Rhys

I am a passionate singing tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and over 5 years of experience coaching voices of all types and ages. My love for music began at a young age, and through years of vocal training, performance, and education, I’ve come to value both the technical and emotional aspects of singing. Teaching has become a natural extension of that passion—allowing me to help others find confidence and freedom in their voice. Throughout my teaching journey, I’ve worked with aspiring vocalists preparing for auditions, casual learners seeking personal enjoyment, and students wanting to strengthen specific vocal skills. I pride myself on creating a supportive and motivating space where every student feels heard, understood, and inspired to grow. Each lesson is adapted to suit the individual—because no two voices are alike. My teaching style blends classical techniques with modern vocal approaches, allowing students to build healthy vocal habits while developing a style that feels true to them. I focus on breath control, tone shaping, pitch accuracy, and expressive delivery, as well as genre flexibility to support whatever style a student wishes to pursue—from pop to classical to musical theater. Beyond teaching, I stay actively involved in performing, songwriting, and collaborating with other musicians. This hands-on experience keeps my teaching fresh and grounded in real-world artistry. I believe every voice has something unique to offer, and my goal is to help each student uncover their strengths, expand their abilities, and enjoy the journey of singing.
