About Alexander
After receiving MS degrees in Applied Physics and Biophysics, I have been teaching for the last 10 years. I have taught all ages from 2nd to college level students, but I have had the most success teaching the different levels of AP Physics. I have taught AP Physics 1 four times, AP Physics five times, and both AP Physics C classes one time.

I am primarily interested in helping students who are struggling with or want practice with AP Physics classes. I primarily approach these types of students by asking them to explain as much as they can to me about what they understand about the problem and try to assess any gaps in their knowledge based on what they do or don't include in their explanation. From there, I try to fill in those gaps and teach them problem solving approaches that help students focus their efforts in the correct areas.
