About Phyllis
I work as the associate editor of View the Vibe, a Toronto lifestyle publication, and WanderEater Magazine, a Canadian travel publication. I began my work with the company a year ago and quickly made my way up the ladder to become associate editor. While working full-time, I am also a student at the University of Toronto studying political science.
I am eager to help in the development of the youth's English skills as I believe education is empowerment.

Every student is unique and so is their approach to learning. With this in mind, I work with each student to create a lesson plan and method of teaching that ensures they are absorbing every detail. In English, a good writer is typically an avid reader. You learn from seeing how another writer phrases their sentences, captures their audience, uses their arguments and so much more. It's important to me as a tutor that reading and examples are heavily used.
With my experience as a student at the top university in the country, and my associate editor position (at a very young age), I have the writing and creative skills to bring my students to the next level.
I believe education is empowerment and in Canada we are lucky to all have access to education. I want to be apart of aiding the next generation of leaders in their academic journey.
