About Lumi

I’m a piano tutor with 9 years of teaching experience, and I also work as a composer and performer. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Piano Studies, which deepened my understanding and love for the instrument. For me, music is a lifelong journey—there’s always something new to discover and express. I work with both beginners and advanced musicians, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals and abilities. Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for a performance, I focus on building strong technique and musicality. I believe that every student’s path is unique, and I aim to support growth at every stage. My own experience as a performer and composer helps me bring real-world insight to lessons. I encourage creativity alongside discipline, blending classical foundations with contemporary styles. Music isn’t just about notes; it’s about storytelling and connection. I’m passionate about helping students find their own voice at the piano. Teaching brings me great joy, especially when I see students develop confidence and passion. Together, we explore technique, expression, and the joy of making music. Whether you want to play for fun or pursue advanced studies, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
