About Taryna

Hello, I'm Taryna, and I'm dedicated to helping you unlock your musical potential. With a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, teaching licenses, and certifications in TEFL, TESOL, and ESOL, I bring a solid educational foundation to my music instruction. I've been playing guitar since the age of 8 and have honed my skills over the years. I also taught myself how to play the piano as an adult so I understand how it feels to learn a new instrument as an adult and understand how important modifying lessons are. With nine years of teaching experience in elementary schools, tutoring, and online language instruction, I've developed a dynamic teaching approach that caters to various learning styles. What sets me apart is my ability to create a positive and structured learning environment, ensuring that you not only learn but also enjoy the journey. My background as a mom and farmer has taught me the importance of nurturing growth and promoting a safe, supportive space for learning. Perfect! I've been working with Taryna for 2 months now and she has been very helpful in my piano journey. I was able to learn bit by bit and practice whenever I can without too much pressure of trying to learn a lot at a time. Taryna is very patient and encouraging for me to keep going, she has also been flexible whenever things come up for me, as someone with a full time job who's also trying to keep up with a side skill. I recommend Taryna to anyone who wants to start small, and learn at their own pace :)

Anika did an amazing job repeating the song to work on her speed and accuracy. She just needs to work on synchronizing her left and write hands on some of the measure. Great job Anika!
