Hi! I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre Voice. I offer personalized lessons for students of all levels—school-aged learners, college students, and adult or professional singers. Whether you're just starting out or refining your craft, I tailor each session to your unique goals and vocal style. I teach a wide range of genres including classical, pop, movie songs, and folk music. My lessons focus on safe vocal techniques, breath control, and tone development. I also help students build strong skills in ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory. These tools support well-rounded musicianship and lasting vocal confidence. My approach is supportive, interactive, and always centered around nurturing your individual voice. I believe every singer has their own story and sound—and I’m here to help you share it. My singing methodology for The Advanced Teen and The Quartet Player focuses on refining musicality, pitch control, and emotional expression. For both, I create genre-spanning sessions that challenge and grow their vocal range, tone, and flexibility. We work on advanced warm-ups to strengthen vocal agility and breath control, tailored to the stylistic needs of solo or ensemble performance. The Advanced Teen explores emotional delivery through dynamic phrasing, storytelling, and tone shaping, while The Quartet Player learns to blend, harmonize, and respond sensitively to group texture. To build confidence, I use recording sessions with DAWs like GarageBand or Audacity, allowing students to track progress and hear their growth. Metronomes and vocal pitch apps support rhythm accuracy and pitch alignment. I design adaptable vocal drills for pop, classical, jazz, and more—so students learn to shift styles smoothly and with intention. Each lesson includes reflection time, helping singers connect emotionally with their material. Students set personal goals and take creative risks in a structured space. I encourage expressive performance, not just technical accuracy. Together, we transform vocal ability into artistry—one confident, emotionally rich note at a time.
