About Olivia
Math doesn’t have to be scary, and that’s the message I share with my students. With 4 years of tutoring experience and a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science, I specialize in algebra support for middle school learners. Linear equations, polynomial expressions, and functions often cause stress, but I simplify them step by step. I use fun puzzles to spark curiosity. Real-life examples bring algebra out of the textbook and into everyday life. Students appreciate seeing how math connects to things they care about. I’ve worked with learners of many styles, from visual to auditory. My approach is flexible, patient, and encouraging. I take special care to support students with math anxiety. Many have grown to enjoy math after building confidence in small steps. Mistakes are part of the journey, and I highlight progress at every turn. My lessons are interactive and supportive. Together, we’ll make algebra approachable, enjoyable, and rewarding.

My Maths teaching style is calm, supportive, and full of applications. I connect algebra, functions, and discrete maths to coding ideas. Programming analogies make problem-solving clear and logical. Students practice algorithmic thinking in simple, structured steps. I enjoy teaching both Architects, who build broad solutions, and Proof Seekers, who focus on logical detail. I help them share their ideas with ease and confidence. Lessons are interactive, often with coding-style puzzles. Real-life digital examples make abstract ideas practical. I always encourage questions and exploration. Complex topics are broken into smaller, clear lessons. My goal is to build confidence as well as understanding. Students leave with stronger problem-solving skills. Together, we’ll make maths approachable and part of digital life.
