I’m a piano tutor with over 14 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano. I believe every student learns best through personalized lessons tailored to their unique goals and interests. My teaching focuses on chord theory, ear training, improvisation, and performance skills to help students become confident and well-rounded musicians. I work with students of all levels—from beginners just starting out to advanced players aiming for mastery. My piano teaching approach focuses on building musical fluency step by step. I start with helping students learn to read music clearly and confidently. Along the way, I teach how to play expressively, bringing emotion and feeling to every piece. Understanding musical structure is important, so I use rhythm drills and finger exercises to develop strong technical skills.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s own pace and goals. I pay close attention to what they want to achieve and adjust my teaching accordingly. For those aiming to perform classical pieces or show exceptional talent early on, I provide extra support and guidance to help them reach their highest potential.
I emphasize the importance of practicing with focus and understanding the meaning behind the music. Song interpretation is a key part of my lessons, encouraging students to express their own voice through the piano. I also include fun, engaging activities to keep motivation high.
