About Melissa
I am an experienced English teacher. I have helped students develop their comprehension skills and increase their confidence in writing. Students I've worked with one on one have increased their standardized testing scores by up to 400 points. I am an excellent teacher and compassionate person.

Students learn best when they are interested in what they are learning, feel successful and develop a trusting relationship with their teacher. I am excited to offer all these things. When I first meet your student, I will ask them their interests and goals. Throughout our educational journey, I will check in frequently with the students to ensure they are feeling confident. I will also communicate frequently with parents to ensure they can see the positive attitude their student develops.
I have 20+ years of experience in education. I have taught students from pre-K to 12th grade as a special education teacher, a general education teacher and an honors teacher. I am excited to begin the educational journey with your child.
