About Nuno
When I was in my first year of university I got my first "D" in an English literature paper. I was devastated! I sought help from a young English professor who offered free writing tutoring. With a few hours of her straightforward help, I got an "A+" on my next paper. I thought, "Wow, that was easy!" and I have been helping people to figure out how to write for the last 25 years.
Later, when I was on vacation in Portugal, I fell in love and decided to stay in Portugal for several years. The only job I could find was as an English teacher. I didn't know what I was doing but took a course from Trinity College on how to teach English. I enjoy the process of learning a new language and I like to make learning English a fun and enjoyable process for others.

The writing process: I will help you construct sentences that reflect your thoughts. I will not use fancy grammar terms (unless you want to know them) and concentrate on starting with simple phrases and build up to more complex sentences. The process is not as difficult as you think -- it's just that you were probably never shown how to write in a step-by-step process. You will enjoy the writing process!
Language learning process: Motivation and natural language learning methods are what I use to teach the English language. I won't make you memorize lists of rules. Humans can learn languages naturally without complicating the learning process. I concentrate on fluency/pronunciation first and accuracy/grammar rules later.
