Hydration is non-negotiable: sip room-temperature water throughout the day, and keep a water bottle nearby during rehearsals. The Soloist in Training should focus on **healthy vocal placement**, exploring resonance and head voice without pushing, using simple apps like *Vocalizer* to track range and stamina. The Church Ensemble Player can add **blend-awareness drills**, practicing light, balanced tones that support ensemble cohesion without losing individual warmth. Both should schedule **mindfulness breaks**, perhaps with a soft chime from a timer like *Insight Timer*, to pause, breathe, and release tension between practice segments.
