About Jolyn
I graduated with a B.A. in Music Piano Performance and a minor in psychology at Denison University in Granville, OH. I went on to pursue my M.A. of Music in Music Therapy at The University of Iowa, and completed my music therapy clinical internship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. I continued my work with children through WeJoySing, Inc. as a Heartstrings Music Instructor and Music Therapist before transitioning to working with adults at a mental health and substance abuse hospital in Columbus, OH. In addition, I have continued to teach private lessons, accompany recitals and concerts, and perform at various weddings.
I am able to teach piano, basic stringed instruments (violin, viola), guitar, and ukulele. I am also certified to teach yoga.
