About Roy
I am an English graduate with several years of experience in instructing children in all sorts of fields, ranging from academics to sports. I attended and double-majored in English and Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin. I want nothing more than to help students excel in their studies and to inspire a thirst for learning. While I specialize in English, I am more than willing to tutor in other areas as well.

My methodology includes assessing the students' current level of abilities, and then forming a step-by-step plan consisting of assignments and "academic-coaching" that will enable the student to comfortably and confidently continue their work on their own. We'll simply discuss where they want to be, and gauge the gap that needs to be bridged.

Please avoid last minute cancellations, I will not charge (for now) but it is inconvenient as I could have scheduled others. If the destination takes me more than 30 minutes to commute to, I will charge an additional $5.
