I possess a BA in English and a certificate in Creative Writing from Rutgers University. I have privately tutored for about 3 years, and have helped my students better their writing and reading comprehension along the way. I have studied and tutored in creative writing, essay writing, reading comprehension, and critical literary analysis.

I begin by first addressing the concerns that the student themselves has. Reading writing samples, asking questions about texts assigned, and understanding the student's thought processes are the next few steps for me. To understand how a student thinks allows me to better explain what they need to learn to them.
