I've always loved reading, and I was lucky enough to have some great English teachers throughout my GCSE and A Level years. Although I understand not all students share a passion for literature, I think English can be fun and rewarding if taught in the right way!

I believe that my studies at degree level, as well as my results at GCSE and A Level, would make me a great fit for pupils who need help with their essay writing skills. I can also provide support with exam technique, reading texts, and revision. I understand that preparing for GCSEs is a stressful time for pupils and parents and I believe that a fun, friendly approach makes revision more manageable. Above all, I want to help students find their confidence with reading and writing. By identifying the main areas of weakness, I can come up with a plan of action for your pupil to prepare for the exams.
Lessons are 1-2 hours in length.
