About Kayleigh
Hello! My name is Kayleigh, and I’m currently studying an integrated MSci in Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Bristol. Alongside my studies, I work across Bristol as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, gaining valuable experience in adapting to diverse learning needs. With over three years of hospitality experience, I’ve developed strong communication and interpersonal skills, which I bring into my teaching approach. Having recently completed my GCSEs and A-levels, I know firsthand the challenges students face and how effective, modern study techniques can make all the difference. I’m passionate about helping students study smarter, not harder, using evidence-based methods like active recall and spaced repetition. My goal is to move beyond outdated learning strategies and equip students with the tools and exam techniques that deliver real results. - Focus on understanding a specific area of the syllabus and then applying this knowledge to past exam questions, with a focus on exam technique to answering long-answer questions. - Lessons can range from 1-2 hours, based on what the student requires. - Grade A achieved in AQA A-level Psychology. - Optional topics I studied were Aggression, Gender, and Schizophrenia. However, I am willing to teach other optional topics. - Current integrated MSci student in Psychology and Neuroscience - Lessons are for A-level Psychology students.
