About Timon
I'm a second-year undergraduate at the University of Edinburgh, studying International Relations and Spanish. I've always had a passion for languages, being fluent in French as well, and tutoring gives me the chance to share that enthusiasm while helping others build their confidence and skills. Teaching Spanish is especially rewarding for me because I enjoy seeing students make progress and start to enjoy the language as much as I do.

I offer Spanish tutoring for students up to GCSE level, providing one-hour lessons (with flexibility depending on the student’s needs). My teaching style focuses on building a solid foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and speaking confidence, using a mix of structured exercises and interactive conversation practice. I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Spanish, an A at A-Level, and I’m currently studying at the University of Edinburgh, where I earned a 2:1 in my first year. My approach is friendly and adaptable, tailored to each student’s learning pace and goals—whether that’s preparing for exams, improving speaking skills, or developing a deeper understanding of the language and culture. Lessons are suitable for learners of all abilities, typically aged 11–16.
