About Damian

I’m a second-year college student majoring in Accounting, with a strong interest in finance and a goal of building a career in the business world. I’m passionate about numbers, problem-solving, and helping others succeed. Outside of my studies, I tutor fellow students in algebra—ranging from the basics to pre-calculus—making sure they truly understand the concepts, not just memorize steps. Tutoring has not only helped me sharpen my own skills but also made me a better communicator and mentor. I’m committed, reliable, and always eager to learn and grow—both personally and professionally.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on making algebra approachable and practical. I use a step-by-step method to break down concepts, using real-life examples—especially those that relate to accounting or business—to help the ideas stick. I encourage questions and adapt my explanations until the student truly understands, not just memorizes.

Independent Practice & Feedback (10–15 min) – Student tries problems alone, with my support as needed.
