About Lennon

I am a student currently in my 4th year of Medicine at Imperial College London. I have established my love for teaching over the past couple of years, tutoring disadvantaged children in A-level Biology as well as Interview tutorials. I also have given BMAT/UCAT lectures to larger groups this year. Having received some fantastic teaching in my clinical rotations, I felt inspired to have the same impact on other students as my consultant had on me. I understand how an excellent teacher can have such a huge impact on a student's attitude and performance. I try to work with my students so that they can get the most out of our sessions, often giving preparation and tasks for outside of lessons to keep them engaged.

About the lesson

Currently, my lessons are aimed at those with upcoming medical school interviews. I have experience giving tutorials around these to small groups as well as on an individual basis. My lessons will usually last around 1-1.5 hours. First, I like to outline the basics with some brief teaching around answer structure and possible content. I will then set a baseline asking some example questions to gauge your current level. From there, I will highlight areas of improvement using your own answers, trying to stick to concepts that you can apply to many different questions. I will cater your lessons to what you want to focus on, suggesting areas that I think will benefit you the most.
