About Ross
I am a 3rd-year Philosophy PhD candidate, working mostly in Epistemology at the University of Glasgow. I have published a chapter of my thesis in an academic journal, and have presented my research at multiple international conferences. I have taught (tutored and lectured) at all levels of university up to and including honours. My preference is for one-to-one tutoring, in which the style and structure of the lessons can be tailored to the needs and preferences of the student.

Lessons are generally an hour, and can be tailored to individual students' needs and preferences. As a starting point, I'll create handouts centred around the course content, leaving plenty of space for discussion. Then, I'll assign a short task based on the key questions and offer feedback. I have tutored in a wide range of philosophical topics, and am able to offer tuition to all levels up to and including honours. I am also happy to hold essay-writing classes, which, rather than focusing on any area of philosophy in particular, will be aimed at improving the student's writing across all areas of philosophy. I have tutored and lectured at university level (honours and pre-honours level).
