As an ACT Reading tutor, I focus on building skills in reading comprehension, time management, and question analysis. I use a structured approach to teach students how to quickly identify the main idea, tone, and purpose of passages while also addressing common traps in the answer choices.
My Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up (5-10 minutes)
Guided Practice (20-25 minutes)
Independent Practice (15-20 minutes)
Review & Strategies (10-15 minutes)
What makes me unique is my ability to adapt to each student’s needs. I take time to understand their individual learning style, whether they thrive with visual aids, verbal explanations, or practice drills.
