Setting the right pace avoids burnout. I track your progress by carefully monitoring shifting positions and left hand agility.
Spiccato and staccato bowing require deep focus. Scales and arpeggios form the essential architecture of our time together. We refine vibrato until it sounds natural.
Every student receives free bowing and posture reference notes after each lesson. This creates a lasting record for your practice.

Self-taught players deserve clarity. I provide that. My background includes a Master of Music from Schulich School of Music and training at the Conservatoire de Montréal.
Over 13 years of experience allows me to mentor intermediate and advanced learners alongside adults. I have guided 434 students through the complexities of string performance. I offer a structural approach for those who have previously learned on their own.
My own path began in Sherbrooke. I understand the transition between learning and mastery. Sometimes progress feels slow. Consistent work remains the only real path forward.
