I am a young 4th grade teacher in NYC and love to be with kids and teach them every day! I want learning to be fun and creative. I went to University of Oregon for undergrad and received my Master's in education from Teachers College at Columbia University. I am certified in general education and special education.

As an elementary school tutor, I make learning fun and simple! I use games, stories, and hands-on activities to help kids understand math, reading, and science. My lessons always start with a fun warm-up, followed by guided practice, and then a creative review to help kids remember. I teach elementary students in grades 1–5, and I always make sure my lessons match their learning style. What sets me apart is my patience and ability to explain things in a way kids really get. I build confidence while helping students grow every step of the way!
