About Jilian

I am a passionate, patient, and dedicated Filipino tutor who enjoys helping students learn and appreciate the beauty of the Filipino language. I am willing to teach students proper grammar, reading comprehension, writing skills, vocabulary, pronunciation, and Filipino literature. I believe that every student has a unique way of learning, so I strive to create a friendly, supportive, and engaging learning environment where they can feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves. My goal is to help students improve their Filipino language skills, build their confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of Filipino culture, values, and traditions. I am committed to guiding my students with patience, encouragement, and dedication to help them achieve their learning goals.

About the lesson

I can teach students various lessons in the Filipino subject, such as grammar (balarila), reading comprehension (pag-unawa sa binasa), writing (pagsulat), and vocabulary development (pagpapalawak ng talasalitaan). I can also teach them Filipino literature, including poems (tula), short stories (maikling kuwento), legends (alamat), fables (pabula), and folktales (kuwentong-bayan). In addition, I can help students improve their speaking and communication skills, learn proper sentence construction, understand Filipino culture and traditions, and appreciate the beauty of our national language. My goal is to make learning Filipino enjoyable, meaningful, and engaging while helping students develop their communication skills, creativity, and love for the Filipino language.
