About Naomi
I’m an aspiring industrial designer, with freelance experience in digital art and content creation. Being an effective communicator, I strive to express my views and ideas with an empathetic approach. I have hands-on experience with student mentoring and teaching design thinking and prototyping for offline workshops.
I have a strong affinity towards creating tangible products, engaging in grass-root level interventions, and understanding the versatility of form and function. My design philosophy is to create outputs that are interesting, explorative, and impactful. I love listening to new ideas and am passionate about conversational learning.
Having previous work experience in remote, as well as on-site jobs, I have built a positive reputation for being punctual, dedicated, and motivated in all my endeavors.

About the lesson

- The classes will be driven by discussions and insightful group thinking. The design process will be taught using thought-provoking, yet real-life accessible examples that show the design of everyday objects.
- Each class will have taught content- Thinking approaches, Design Tools, Prototyping Techniques, etc.
- Classes will also have on-call tasks to be done and discussed with the mentor, as well as some short post-class assignments.
- Learning by making: The sessions will be driven by an overarching project, led by the student and guided by the mentor which will enrich their learning as well.
-Being a fourth-year Industrial Design Student myself, I am open-minded and have an open learning approach.
- The classes are intended for students between 14-18 years of age and interested to learn the design that bridges arts with the sciences
