About the lesson

I'm a 4th year medical student at Newcastle University, with previous experience tutoring Years 7-11 as well as 11+ tuition. I achieved 5 A*s, 5 As and a B at GCSE, as well as AAAB at A-Level.

My first experience of tutoring was helping my younger siblings pass their 11+. It was much more difficult than I expected it to be, but soon I had the skills to be able to help by explaining concepts, not just how to solve the question. After this, I ran a small tuition club at my secondary school for Years 7-11, with students that were struggling being referred to me by teachers. This was a very rewarding experience, and I hope to be able to continue tutoring in my spare time.

I know how stressful the 11+ and GCSEs can be for both parents and students, and offer personalised teaching, tailored to the students needs.
