About Jasmin

Hi! I am a 4th year Business Management and French student at the University of Southampton (2:1 average). I understand how challenging learning languages or grasping grammatical concepts can be - been there, done that, can't say I miss it - which is why I am here to help! Learning a language should be enjoyable, interesting and memorable, and I take pride in curating individualised lessons to make sure that this is the case for all of my students. My aim is for you to leave each session feeling more confident in your own ability, fluency and to feel better prepared for your exams! :)

About the lesson

- I teach French (including grammar, pronunciation, translation and general exam practice) at all levels (KS1/2/3/GCSE/A Level) and EFL (English as a foreign language) to Adults and children. This also includes Business English. I now have 1 year's tutoring experience and have taught a range of students, from KS2 to Independent Adult learners. - I usually like to tailor each lesson according to your personal goals, and areas where you would like help. I encourage a lot of engagement and interaction in my lessons, so expect to speak quite a bit! To ensure that you get the most out of each session, lessons may vary and usually include practice activities, games, translations and grammar revision. My aim is for you to leave each session feeling more confident in your own ability, fluency and to feel better prepared for your exams! :) -All teaching is done online (typically through Zoom). Basic lessons can last for 1 hour, although 2 hour slots are recommended for more written, grammar and speaking exercises. Feel free to contact me for any questions, see you on the other side!
