About Haroon
I have extensive experience in tutoring, ranging from Key stage 2 to A Level subjects, which has spanned over several years and varied in formats from one to one teaching to classroom sessions. My primary teaching subject is Biology, either at A level or GCSE, which allows me to provide the best quality of teaching due to my extensive knowledge in the field. In addition, i would be able to deliver teaching in A level and GCSE Maths with my qualities in this area being demonstrated by the A* grade that i achieved at both GCSE and A level.
Another area in which I operate is in equipping students to pursue a career in Medicine. I can deliver sessions which familiarise students with the Medical degree through providing presentations and information on the degree in general and what it takes to become an effective medical student. As a student ambassador at the University of Birmingham, I travel around the region delivering the aforementioned sessions and as such equipping prospective students with the necessary skills to succeed.

As a trainee doctor, a great emphasis is placed on being effective at teaching which is a skill that I have honed over the years. Personally, I see an effective teacher as an individual who can adapt to each students needs through assessing understanding and altering their teaching methods. I am one such individual, as I am capable of building an immediate rapport with people from a variety of backgrounds; demonstrated by my experiences in both the healthcare and business profession.
