About Sahara
I am a 5th year medical student at University of Oxford with experience in tutoring applicants to Medicine. Over the past 3 years, I have tutored several students for the UCAT/BMAT along with personal statement guidance and interview preparation. Most recently, I have two year 13 students who have received offers for 2022 entry and the year 12 student is on her way to a very strong application. I am a hard working and diligent individual with a good work ethic, well balanced with my extracurricular activities. This is something I hope rubs off on my tutees as I guide them through their application process.

More so than with other degrees, applications to study Medicine have multiple steps and layers. With my approach to tutoring, I help students cover each section of their application so that they do not feel overwhelmed and lost. I received offers and interviewed at Oxford, Imperial, King’s College London and Southampton so I am able to use my experience to increase my student’s potential. Being a medical student means I have been in their shoes (including having taken the UCAT and BMAT) and I am also able to recommend extracurriculars and give an insight into what being a medical student is actually like. Considering all this, it’s fair to say that I can be a great guidance.

Sahara is an amazing tutor who made a large and positive impact on my performance scores all at my UCAT, BMAT and medicine interviews. She always personalised her lessons for me and made me realise what I needed to work on. From practising with her she gave me all the tips and tricks needed to get the best scores I could. In terms of interviews, she is very knowledgeable about what the interviewers would love to hear to get you the highest interview score possible. Also great at teaching you how to structure your answers so you can include all your key points. Definitely saw a huge difference after starting tutoring with her! Can’t recommend enough.
