About Amira
Hi! I’m Amira — a 4th year medical student at UCL with a First Class BSc in Cardiovascular Science and a deep passion for teaching. I specialise in GCSE Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, and I’ve worked with students from a range of abilities and backgrounds. My teaching style is warm, structured, and student-led — I break down difficult topics into digestible parts, encourage questions, and focus on building genuine confidence, not just memorisation. Whether you're aiming for a top grade or just trying to pass, I’ll meet you where you’re at. I also have extensive experience working with children in educational and care settings, including as a nursery assistant, science club leader, and welfare officer — so I’m well-versed in creating safe, motivating, and engaging learning environments.
