About Ashley
I hold a BFA in Electronic Music from Mills College and have been working professionally in the field since 2018. Early in my career, I participated in major industry events such as NAMM, Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), and Atonal Festival, where I demonstrated Eurorack systems for leading manufacturers including Doepfer, Verbos Electronics, and Vermona.
I later moved to Berlin, where I worked as a technician at Patch Point, building modular synthesizers for Random*Source, 4U systems, and Ciat-Lonbarde instruments. In 2019, I joined Buchla USA, contributing to production management of the 208C Music Easel and servicing 200E modules.
From 2021 to 2025, I worked at Ableton AG in Berlin as a Technical Support Specialist and Knowledge Coordinator, where I developed deep expertise in Ableton Live and music production workflows.
With a strong foundation in synthesis and years of hands-on industry experience, I now offer Ableton Live lessons, helping students of all levels develop their skills in music production and sound design.

I offer one-on-one Ableton Live lessons tailored to your goals, covering sound design, composition, mixing techniques, and workflow.
For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation using Ableton Live’s stock devices and free Packs from the Ableton website. You’ll learn how to navigate the interface while starting to create your own music right away.
For intermediate users, I expand beyond Ableton Live stock tools and introduce third-party plug-ins, helping you refine your sound and fully develop your compositional ideas.
