About Mexgirl
I have been a Special Education teacher for 15 years. I also have a sister and a stepdaughter with special needs. I have worked with children with special needs of all ages. My professional experience in Special Education started with the Infant Toddler Program, giving me the opportunity to learn how to support families and students from an early age. I have worked with students from TK-6th grade for 13 years. I also worked with students with severe disabilities for 2 years as a teacher and 5 years as a Para-educator.

During the lesson time, students can be provided with the academic support in specific areas of need. Students can be assisted with emotional/vocational guidance to help manage behaviors and teach them to make connections with others. For parents, this time can be used as guidance for any questions or support in any areas of need related to maneuvering/managing new challenges that they might face, IEP guidance, Behavior Support.
