About Erica
Interestingly, I am counselor rather than teacher. I hold a Post Master's Specialization in Mental Health and Counseling. I began as a professor-recommended peer tutor as an undergraduate and have continued to tutor ever since. During the pandemic I began tutoring high-school students as well as college-aged students online. I primarily tutor "across the curriculum." I hope this helps and I look forward to working with you!

I tutor "across the curriculum" at all levels using an Indigenous land-based learning model which emphasizes oral, visual and tactile methods of teaching alongside the student. It recognizes the need to build a relationship with students along with frequent repetitions and lots of time.
