• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  My interest in Finance, Accounting, and Business Studies developed during my academic journey. After becoming a Chartered Accountant and gaining professional experience, I developed a passion for sharing practical knowledge and helping students understand concepts clearly.

• Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  I teach Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, and related subjects. I enjoy explaining concepts like financial statements, accounting principles, taxation basics, and practical business examples. I believe every topic becomes interesting when students understand its real-life application.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  Yes, I have been inspired by teachers who focused on building concepts rather than just completing the syllabus. Their patience and dedication motivated me to follow a similar approach while teaching.

• What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  A good tutor should have strong subject knowledge, patience, clear communication skills, and the ability to understand each student's learning style. A tutor should encourage students to ask questions and develop confidence.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  During my CA journey, I realised that difficult concepts become easier when explained with simple examples. This experience shaped my teaching style of connecting theories with practical situations.

• What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

  The biggest challenge is making complex financial concepts simple and interesting for students. I continuously work on improving my teaching methods to make learning more effective.

• Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  My passion is teaching and mentoring students. I enjoy helping students build strong fundamentals and showing them how finance and accounting are connected to real business decisions.

• What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions :-P)?

  My professional experience as a Chartered Accountant, practical industry exposure, and passion for teaching make me different. I focus on building understanding, confidence, and long-term learning skills in my students.
