About Morgan

I’m passionate about helping students succeed and want to give back by showing them that with the right strategies and support, they can thrive too. I’m a graduate of Rice University, a top-tier private institution, where I balanced a rigorous academic schedule while competing as a Division I student-athlete. I have over two years of tutoring experience in subjects like anatomy, biochemistry, and exercise physiology. I've always been the kind of student who had to work hard for good grades and learning didn't always come naturally. But that experience taught me how to study strategically and master difficult material, and it's a big part of why I love tutoring today. I use the methods that helped me succeed to help others feel more confident and capable in the classroom. My teaching style is structured but approachable. I always prepare an outline for each session in advance so students know exactly what to expect, and we can stay focused throughout. This also allows me to come in ready to answer questions and adapt to the student’s pace and needs. I’m a big believer in the whiteboard method where I break down complex concepts visually, step-by-step, so students can follow along and truly understand the "why" behind what they're learning. I also share study resources that help students strengthen their skills outside of our sessions, without adding hours of extra work to their schedule.
