About Anouche

I have always been fascinated by voices and accents — I am quite nerdy about them! I hold two BAs in languages and literature from La Sorbonne, Paris and an MFA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. With extensive experience teaching and coaching languages, literature, and accents, I've had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of students. After teaching accents on the MA Acting for Screen at Central, I am now the Voice and Speech Tutor on the Foundation Course in Acting at Questors Theatre in Ealing. I am a certified teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork — an inclusive, skills-based approach to speech and accent training for actors. As someone who is neurodiverse and identifies within the LGBT community, I strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all my students. I am a trained guitarist and singer, and a passionate enthusiast of theatre and musicals. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing board games, and travelling. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your accent goals!

About the lesson

Are you an actor looking to acquire a new accent for a role? Are you a second-language speaker of English looking to modify your accent? Hello! My name is Anouche, and I would love to work with you. I am a qualified voice and accent practitioner with an MFA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (RCSSD). I also am a certified teacher of Knight Thompson Speechwork, a panlingual, skills-based approach to accent training. I have extensive experience teaching accents and dialects for performance in London drama schools. I am currently working as Voice and Speech Tutor on Questors Theatre's Foundation Course in Acting, and I also offer private coaching in voice and accent work. Whether you are an actor preparing for an audition or a second-language speaker hoping to work on your accent, I can help you achieve your goals. My pedagogical approach is centred around the needs of my students and relies deeply on neuroinclusive practice. Having written my Master's thesis on how best to support second-language speakers of English in accent acquisition, I am also particularly qualified to help non-native speakers of English on their accent journey. I offer a 15% discount on lessons if you are a student (£55/hour). I also offer a 5-hour bundle for £250, which equates to £50 per hour for four lessons focused on an accent of your choice.
