About Tristan

I am an enthusiastic Piano instructor with 14 years of experience teaching students of various ages and skill levels. My students include school children, college learners, and working professionals who are eager to learn and improve their Piano skills.

My teaching style combines structure, creativity, and flexibility. I believe that learning Piano should be enjoyable while also building strong technical foundations. Every lesson is tailored to suit the student's individual learning style and musical interests.

Students in my classes learn scales, chords, rhythm, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I also help students develop effective practice habits that lead to long-term success.

Beyond Piano, I teach keyboard skills, music reading, and foundational music theory. These subjects help students gain a complete understanding of music and improve their overall musicianship.

I take pride in creating a positive learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and inspired. My goal is to help every learner enjoy music while developing valuable skills that last a lifetime.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is centred on communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and continuous improvement. I believe music education should develop not only technical ability but also creativity, confidence, and discipline.

Students begin by learning posture, finger exercises, note reading, rhythm, and music theory. As their skills develop, they move on to scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, expressive techniques, sight reading, pedal control, and performance skills through carefully planned lessons.

I explain every topic using clear language and practical demonstrations. Students are encouraged to think creatively, ask questions, and practise regularly. Constructive feedback helps them improve while maintaining motivation.

To make learning enjoyable, I introduce different styles of music, allowing students to discover new interests. Improvisation and accompaniment exercises help students improve musical imagination and confidence.

Besides piano, I also teach keyboard techniques, rhythm training, ear training, music theory, music appreciation, sight reading, and performance preparation. These supporting subjects help students become well-rounded musicians.

My goal is to guide students with patience and encouragement while helping them achieve steady progress and enjoy music throughout their lives.
