About Ritu
I am a professional Singing tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience, helping School students, College students, and Working Professionals achieve their musical goals. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with learners of different ages, skill levels, and musical interests. My passion for music and education drives me to create lessons that are both enjoyable and effective.
My teaching approach focuses on understanding each student's unique voice and learning style. I believe that every student has the ability to become a confident singer with the right guidance and practice. I design personalised lesson plans that match individual goals, whether students want to improve vocal technique, prepare for performances, participate in competitions, or simply sing for enjoyment.
My classes cover important areas such as breath control, vocal exercises, pitch accuracy, tone improvement, rhythm training, voice projection, and stage performance. I use a combination of practical exercises, listening activities, song-based learning, and constructive feedback to help students progress steadily. I also emphasise healthy vocal habits to ensure long-term vocal development.
In addition to Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and Performance Skills. These subjects help students gain a deeper understanding of music and become more versatile performers. I regularly monitor progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure continuous improvement.
My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves through music. I believe learning should be inspiring and rewarding. By combining technical training with creativity and confidence-building, I help students develop both their vocal abilities and their love for music.

My Singing teaching methodology focuses on helping students develop strong vocal skills through flexibility, creativity, understanding, and organised learning. I believe that learning to sing should be enjoyable, motivating, and rewarding.
Every student starts with a different level of experience, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual needs. Some students may need help with vocal confidence, while others may focus on advanced techniques or performance preparation. My flexible approach allows me to meet students where they are and guide them towards their goals.
Creativity is an important part of my lessons. I use songs from different genres, vocal exercises, listening activities, and creative practice methods to keep students engaged. By connecting lessons with music students enjoy, learning becomes more meaningful and exciting.
I emphasise proper breathing, pitch control, vocal tone, rhythm, pronunciation, and musical expression. Students receive regular feedback and practical exercises that help them improve step by step. I also encourage independent practice habits to support long-term growth.
Understanding each student's learning style helps me build a positive and encouraging environment. I aim to boost confidence while helping students overcome challenges without pressure.
Good time management ensures that every lesson is productive. Each class follows a structured plan with warm-ups, technical exercises, song application, and performance practice. This keeps learning organised and focused.
Along with Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Basic Keyboard for Vocalists, Performance Techniques, and Vocal Care. My goal is to help students develop both technical skills and artistic expression while enjoying every stage of their musical development.
